Overall, the trip was decent. The highlight was our photographer, Gisel, who was incredibly patient and professional. Despite the freezing cold, she took her time, guided us through the process, and ensured we got amazing Northern Lights pictures. However, our experience with the guide ( who was our driver too) was disappointing. She was inattentive, barely answered our questions, and seemed more interested in entertaining another group. Our package included Finnish storytelling, but unfortunately, she did not share any of it with us. In short, while the photography experience was exceptional, the guiding service fell short of expectations.

Michael / Mikhail was super friendly and super knowledgeable. I get super cold super fast, he was kind enough to get me the right outfit, kind enough check in throughout the thing, warm enough? Fast enough etc. We only saw a mild bit of aurora but the experience is still worth it. Standing in the middle of a frozen lake in the cold and looking up at the cosmos.
